Drama is an important feature of pupils’ experience at KPS. The school has a purpose-built theatre space with full lighting and sound equipment. In addition, we have secured extended performing arts rehearsal space within a number of nearby working theatres as well as neighbouring churches.

For large scale events KPS holds performances at Chelsea Theatre, a professional and adaptable venue that has staged productions from some of the biggest names in contemporary performance, including original productions from Sarah Kane and BBC sitcom and panel-show recordings.

In addition to acting, KPS gives interested pupils first-hand experience of production, set design and theatre technology working with a live theatre company that puts on multiple productions throughout the year. Our pupils will be able to learn a range of technical skills as they help to assist the company in its roaming London productions at local indoor and outdoor venues.
