Admissions Process

Our admissions process is simple and straightforward. The main points of entry are Year 7 (age 11), Year 9 (age 13) and Year 12 (age 16). We are also able to accept applications for Years 8 and 10.  We are conscious that a number of families arrive to settle in London outside of these standard entry points and we will consider applications on a flexible basis.

The process begins with a family visit to tour the school and to meet the teaching staff.  Interested families will then be invited to sit assessments.

11+ and 13+ EntrY Tests

Pupils from independent and primary schools which finish at age 11 sit the 11+ entrance test in Year 6.  Our next Assessment morning is Monday 20 May,  Successful candidates will be called for interview and offers will be made on 31 May.  This information also applies to Years 8 and 10.

Those from independent schools are invited to sit assessments in Year 8 for entry end of August 2019.  Successful candidates will then be called for interview .  Offers will be made conditional upon achieving the required standard in the Common Entrance examination.

If you have missed our application dates and are exploring 2019 entry, please contact Jane Lovell at j.lovell@kps.co.uk

Admission for the Lower School for 2020 entry will begin with family visits in the Autumn Term and we will publish our open evening dates in June.
