Welcome from the Director of Education

I feel very fortunate to be involved in the founding of a new school which offers so much to our pupils in terms of academic excellence, a dynamic sports and arts programme and a prime London location rich in culture and diversity.

Kensington Park School is an exciting place to be. Pupils benefit from some of the most experienced teachers in the country, coaching partnerships with local providers of excellence in sport and the arts, and a highly-developed pastoral care system.

We are a new school founded upon traditional values. Our ethos is one of academic rigour balanced with ambition, personal talent, flair and leadership. Our aim is to provide pupils with the environment and support that enables them to realise their full potential.

Kensington Park School opened its doors to the sixth form in September 2017. The lower school, for boys and girls aged 11–16, will open one year later; we have already had strong interest from families for entry into our various age groups. The success of a school is the product of its teachers and pupils, with its facilities merely helping to provide the two with wider opportunities. With our wonderful central London location and a wealth of sports and cultural centres as our neighbours, we will be able to integrate world-class co-curricular experiences into the timetable.

Although we are a new school, we have been fortunate to attract a team that have a vast wealth of experience in running leading HMC schools. They have been excited by the chance to create something new and to build on all the best elements of the schools they come from.
