We are an academically selective 11 to 18 co-educational school with boarding. Outstanding teaching, innovation and a personalised delivery are the three crucial pillars of a KPS education.

Thank you for visiting the Kensington Park School (KPS) website. We are delighted to have this opportunity to share with you what makes KPS an exciting place to learn and a happy place to grow.

We are an academically selective 11 to 18 co-educational school with boarding. Outstanding teaching, innovation and a personalised delivery are the three crucial pillars of a KPS education.

Outstanding teaching

Our experienced teachers have taught at some of the oldest and most traditional schools in the country: St Paul’s School, St Paul’s Girls’ School, Dulwich College, City of London School for Girls, Winchester College to name but a few. Above all, they are passionate about and dedicated to delivering an education that is modern and dynamic. While our staff are rigorous in their approach to teaching and learning, they are thoroughly modern in their outlook and practice.

Innovation

Our 21st century curriculum has been carefully selected and designed to meet the needs of our students as they grow and develop.  From Computer Science to Mandarin, introduced from Year 7, our curriculum prepares our young people for the fast-paced and ever-changing world around us. Equally important to the formal curriculum that challenges and develops our students academically are our enriching range of co-curricular activities. From high-quality music and drama clubs to a variety of sports activities with local sports providers (ranging from netball, football, swimming and tennis to rowing, rock climbing, horse riding and even ice hockey), our clubs aim to spark enquiring young minds and inspire new skills development.

Our commitment to and focus on each individual child is central to everything we do, ensuring our students receive a personalised education that appropriately challenges, supports and inspires them to achieve their unique potential.

We are as ambitious as you are about your child’s future and supporting them to reach their full potential. Our outstanding A-Level results demonstrate what KPS students can expect to achieve. In 2019, graduates of KPS Sixth Form were successful in securing places on highly competitive undergraduate courses, including Medicine, Neuroscience, Economics, Comparative Literature, and International Business. We are proud to have played a part in enabling our students to receive offers from Ivy League, Russell Group, and many other prestigious universities worldwide, including Stanford (USA); University of Cambridge; University College London; Imperial College; Bristol University; Cardiff University; Goldsmiths; and leading Veterinary and Medical Schools such as the Royal Veterinary College and St George’s, University of London.

KPS offers an intellectually exciting environment in which students can learn and grow, but also have fun. Thanks to excellent teaching in small classes of no more than 14 students per class, we are able to offer a dynamic and innovative learning environment, and a pastoral care system that values close collaboration and frequent communication with parents. All of our students are well-equipped for the challenges of the 21st century.

I very much look forward to meeting you in person to show you our fantastic school and share our vision for your child's education.

Mr Stephen Mellor
