On Sunday 16th September Teagan took part in a British Ranking Competition: the 6th Leon Paul Women's Foil Open at the Leon Paul Fencing Centre in Hendon. The field of thirty-seven fencers comprised of Cadets (U17), Juniors (U20) and Seniors.

In a poule of six fencers Teagan won all five of her fights dropping just seven points. With an indicator of 18 her ranking after poules was Second, which gave Teagan a bye into the last thirty-two.

Teagan’s first fight to remain in the top thirty-two was relatively easy and she won 15/3. Progressing to the top sixteen she proceeded to win 15/10 to get into top eight. In the top eight Teagan fenced a strong junior and remained focused throughout, defeating her opponent 13/10. In the semi-finals Teagan fenced another junior resulting in a 15/10 win.

In the finals Teagan came up against a very experienced senior fencer. Teagan took the match 15/6 to win Gold.

It’s another fantastic result and Kensington Park School is very proud to support Teagan through her competitive career.
