With the guidance of Ian & Jason, Miss Gammon's tutor group continued their nature wellbeing project with a session on repotting their own cacti gardens!

They're already looking forward to taking these home before starting their next project: bird box building!
Before the half term, Miss Gammon's tutor group had spent time on the terrace garden, learning more about horticulture and caring for outdoor plants, as well as the benefits that gardening and spending time in nature has on our mental health & well- being.

The smaller class sizes at KPS make a huge difference in giving our students the opportunity to engage with projects like this one outside of their lessons. As the summer term approaches its end, we look forward to seeing our students continuing to immerse themselves in all things nature and horticulture through the summer break and into the autumn term.
