We're now nearly a week into the autumn term, and already have much to be excited about. Last week, we welcomed back our Lower School and Sixth Form students who enjoyed a morning of induction sessions and opportunities to meet their new tutor groups and peers, before beginning the first lessons of the new school year.

On the first day of term we also welcomed new families and students into our community with a Welcome Tea. The event was a wonderful opportunity for new parents to meet each other and hear from our Leadership Team, as well as to meet their children's tutors and subject teachers.

Since last week, students in all year groups have settled back into KPS daily life and are embracing the return to a sense of normality. For teachers as well as students, it’s exciting and refreshing to be able to teach in front of a live classroom again and witness the students' enthusiasm to be back sitting in a real classroom.  Lessons were also accessible online for students who were in quarantine or could not yet return to the UK.

The energy across the school has been fantastic, and a reminder of the KPS mindset- one of tenacity, forward-thinking and a real enthusiasm to learn and grow.

We are immensely proud of the way our students have adapted to the safety measures around the school, and how they have conducted themselves with maturity throughout the settling in process.

As always, we have a term full of challenging and engaging lessons to look forward to, including an array of co-curricular activities available to all students.
This term, our co-curricular schedule is even bigger and better, with the return of popular favourites such as Sci-Art, Enterprise Club, and Table Tennis as well as new activities added, like Bananagrams and Debating & Essay Club!

We wish our students and teaching staff a successful and productive term ahead.
