The Nottingham U17 British Ranking Competition took place on Sunday 28thOctober at the David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham.

 With fifty-one fencers checked in, Teagan fenced in a poule of seven girls. Teagan won all six fights only receiving two hits across all fights. This very clean performance saw Teagan ranked first after the poules with an indicator of 28 giving her a bye into the top 32.

Moving to the direct eliminations (DE's), Teagan won her first fight within the first three-minute period 15-5. Moving to the top 16 again a very quick fight with a 15-3 win. The fight for the top 8 was a little tougher, and at the end of the first 3 minute period Teagan was down 7-4. During the first one minute break Teagan composed herself and with her coach decided to changed tactics, this resulted in her pulling ahead to win the fight 15-10. Moving to the semi-finals Teagan fenced well and maintained the lead throughout winning 15-6.

Once again, in the finals Teagan met her opponent from the Nationals. Taking the lead from the start, Teagan maintained composure throughout and won with an impressive score of 15-6.

With this result Teagan will retain her position of first place out of sixty-two fencers in the GB U17 Cadet rankings. This will also ensure GB selection for Tauberbischofsheim/Germany in early December.
