Last week KPS celebrated Pride Week, with an array of activities, workshops and assemblies throughout. A highlight of these celebrations was the bake sale, with funds raised going towards AKT Charity & pin badges for our KPS Pride Club members.

AKT is a charity which supports LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25 in the UK who are facing or experiencing homelessness, or living in a hostile environment. KPS is proud that so many of our students donated money towards this fantastic organisation, as well as the maturity they've shown throughout the activities and discussions during this week.

In Miss Martin's Geography class, students discussed how public spaces can be made safer for members of the LGBTQ+ community: take a look at some of their work here!
