KPS sixth form students were invited to attend a Psychiatry Society talk held at Imperial College. Both Professor Wendy Burn and Dr Gareth Cuttle shared insight on how the practice of Psychiatry is changing to incorporate the latest neuroscientific developments. It was discussed how these changes link with mental illness, and what measures need to be taken in regards to the different forms of therapy. Finally, all of us had the chance to get some hands-on experience by modeling the human brain structure out of Play-Doh!
