KPS hosts lecture on US university application process by former Director of the Harvard International Office

KPS was delighted to welcome to the Sixth Form for the second year running Seamus Malin, US admissions consultant and previous Director of the Harvard University International Office. Seamus came to the school to speak to pupils and parents about the US university admission process and what is involved when applying as an international student.

US destinations are becoming more and more popular among international students, with 16 of the top 20 universities in the world based there. The admissions process is very different to the UK’s, and competition is tough, so careful planning and research is essential before submitting an application.

Seamus spoke to students about the different universities and programmes on offer, when to start the admission process, and how to make an application stand out.

The talk was incredibly informative and followed by a Q&A making sure that parents left with no question unanswered.
