Allan Gardam

Teacher of Physics

I became a physics teacher after a first career in the aerospace industry, and I have worked in brilliant schools in both the maintained and the independent sectors, most recently St Paul’s School.

I love teaching physics because it is the gateway to understanding the world around us. I meet too many people who say “I was/am hopeless at physics”. I hope that my students will learn that physics isn’t difficult and that it’s great fun!

I am married with two sons and live in Essex. I enjoy playing golf and watching sport - I am a member at Essex CCC and an Arsenal season ticket holder. I also enjoy singing bass in several choirs including the Gamesmaker Choir and the London Brexit Choir.
