Andrew King

Teacher of Mathematics

E:

I became a teacher of Mathematics in 2012 after spending six years as an analyst for a firm of engineering consultants specialising in the water industry. I have a BSc (Mathematics) and MSc (Mathematical Modelling in the Environment) from the University of East Anglia. I subsequently moved to the University of Nottingham where I undertook a PhD in Fluid Mechanics.

I am originally from (and have returned to) south east London. For my sins, I am a season-ticket holder at Charlton Athletic and have followed them for as long as I can remember (thanks Dad!). I enjoy most sports and I also loosely follow the fortunes of Kent County Cricket Club. My other interests include Space and Astronomy, cooking and introducing my children to the great films of the eighties and nineties.
