Debora D'Auria

Teacher of Psychology

E:

I have been teaching A level Psychology since 2004 and joined KPS after 10 years of being Head of Psychology at a girls’ grammar school. I have been an examiner for AQA since 2008 and have received private commissions from both the British Psychological Society and the Arts Council for advocacy work. I am a member of the Association for Teachers of Psychology and in 2018 completed post-graduate training in coaching and mentoring. In 2008 I attained a diploma in Fine Art at UAL Camberwell.

Having recently discovered the term “wanderlust”, I’m pleased to finally label my eclectic passions! I am always keen to travel and have led student expeditions to Vietnam, Namibia, Iceland and Peru. I also have what I would describe as “academic wanderlust” which is why the students in psychology lessons and beyond will experience a diverse exploration of ideas, theories and controversies with me.
