Dick Jaine

Director of Education

E:

Dick Jaine is our Director of Education. After representing Great Britain at international level in fencing, Dick started his career at Marlborough College before moving to St Paul's School in 1979. Dick's 30 year career at St Paul's culminated in his appointment as Surmaster and then acting High Master. He led a number of significant educational initiatives at the school, including developing it into one of the UK's leading feeder schools to US universities.

Dick then joined the international education group, GEMS, where he relaunched and headed the group's flagship school in the UK, Sherfield School in Hampshire. Dick and the team he brought with him from St Paul's transformed Sherfield, achieving record results with their first A-Level cohort, ranking No. 4 in national league tables for schools with a small Sixth Form.
