Jack McMinn

Teacher of Biology

E:

I always ask my students at the beginning of each year what they think science is, because one thing I always want to emphasise is that the subject is less about an arbitrary division between lists of ‘scientific’ and ‘normal’ facts, and more about curiosity and finding out how the world works. I’ve been passionate about science since a young age, and have pursued this up to a research masters at the University of Cambridge.

I really want to encourage the same enthusiasm in each of my lessons, and hope that I can help KPS’s pupils feel that they can fearlessly ask questions and explore the complexity and wonder of the natural world.
