Teacher of Italian

I studied Languages at the University of Bari, in Puglia and after my degree I moved firstly to Sondrio, then Milan and finally Bologna to teach English in secondary and high schools.

In 2006 I was appointed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an Italian teacher in London to promote Italian in English schools and to teach the children of the Italian community in London.

For nine years I taught Italian from ab initio courses through to A-Level on behalf of the Italian Consulate in London, and before joining KPS I had the privilege of teaching at St Paul’s Girls’ School.

I am passionate about Italian and it is always a great pleasure to hear my language spoken by students from different countries and to see their enthusiasm for Italian culture and food. I must add that on school trips I have organised, ice cream is always my students’ favourite treat - they can enjoy at least three a day!

London is a vibrant and stimulating city and my favourite places are Saddler’s Wells, the Tate Gallery, the parks and the antique market at Covent Garden on Mondays. I started collecting Victorian and Georgian antique teapots and now I have more than 30 (not all on display!!).
