Polly Martin

Teacher of Humanities

E:

I was brought up on a farm and have always had an interest in geography and the environment. I studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Manchester and worked in Parliament, lastly in the office of a high profile cabinet minister.

I have since qualified as a geography teacher. Before joining KPS I was covering for the Head of Geography at a school in Lambeth. I enjoy watching students develop an interest in and understanding of the world around them. I am keen to show students how they fit into the world, and how other people live in the UK and abroad, with a particular emphasis on international development and environmental issues. I enjoy playing recreational level sports; my teams are in frisbee, netball and touch rugby leagues.
