Teacher of Art

E:

Art has always been the thing that has brought me the most joy in my life. I have always enjoyed visiting galleries and museums to experience works, which have played a key role in the history of art, learning from them and using them in my own practice. It is my goal as a teacher to give students the opportunity to do the same and learn from the great masters.

My passion for teaching is founded in supporting students to become independent, hardworking and responsible young artists. I want to provide them with a chance to develop as individuals through the exploration and expression of their creativity, whilst learning key skills within my subject.

During my BA in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art and my PGCE at the University of Cambridge, I gained invaluable knowledge and experience during my teaching practice, preparing me for the role of art teacher - a which I thoroughly enjoy!

Something to know about me is that I absolutely love the theatre! The Dreamgirls musical and the Swan Lake ballet are just two of my favourite shows.
