Sam Siddiqui

Teacher of Physics

With an MSc and PhD in Physics and a B.Ed. in Education, I have both a teaching and research career, and have published a number of academic papers in Physics. I am also a member of the Institute of Physics. With over 30 years’ experience in teaching I am used to accommodating the diverse needs of students, offering individualised support and many extra-curricular activities such as electronics clubs. I am particularly interested in conservation of energy and love to conduct experiments with my students where I can show them how to minimise heat loss and increase efficiency. One of my previous research projects showed how large headphones can have a magnetic effect on the blood flow in the brain, not something my students always want to hear! In my spare I am a wiz at cricket!
