In the Sixth Form, lessons begin at 8.30 am and finish at 4.00 pm. Our A-Level students follow their own, personalised timetables with lessons of 60 minutes each (two hours for a double period), allowing them more time to thoroughly explore their subject areas. The A-Level programme is taught in small teaching groups to facilitate interactive lessons with a strong emphasis on in-depth discussion and debate, and ensure our students receive a high degree of individual attention and support.
Enrichment takes place at lunchtimes, after school, and on Wednesday afternoons, when there is a broad range of activities on offer at the Sixth Form, Lower School, and off-site. This includes sports, subject-specific clubs and societies, museum visits, study skills sessions, university preparation and external guest-speaker events.
Sixth Form students enjoy lunch every day at Imperial College London, located just a few minutes’ walk from the Queen’s Gate building, ensuring that our students' university experience begins while they are still with us at Kensington Park School.
