Excitingly, a range of poems from the pupils at the Lower School have been chosen for publication after entering the Through Their Eyes poetry competition in autumn term. We are delighted to announce that the printed copies have finally arrived! Pupils were challenged to write a poem from someone or something’s point of view. They could interpret the themes and ideas as they wish, and we had some excellent entries. The work was chosen based on imagination and creativity, as well as originality and use of language. Catherine Cook, one of the editors, has congratulated our students and she hopes that they will continue to keep up the great writing.

On behalf of KPS and Miss Jones, we would also like to thank all the students for taking part in this competition, and we hope that our pupils will have similar success in the future! Copies of the poetry collection can now be found in the school library.
