Just a few days after the start of the new academic year, our Lower School pupil Adela Svihalkova took part in the Czech National Summer Biathlon Cup in Jilemnice, Czech Republic among a field of over thirty girls. Biathlon is predominantly a winter sport which combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting, however, it is also popular for its summer version; cross-country running and rifle shooting.
Adela cleared all the targets and together with her excellent running, she got ahead of her fellow competitors and won both her races. Currently, Adela is No 1 in the Czech National Cup and is training for the upcoming Championship.
