The ISA Athlete of the Term Award aims to recognise the outstanding achievements of young sportsmen and sportswomen in ISA schools. Adela was one of just three students from all the schools within the Independent Schools Association to be shortlisted for the award, a tremendous achievement which earned her another trophy for her collection. A very well done to Adela!
Adela was put forward for the ISA Athlete of the Term Award due to her incredible sporting success in 2021, and the New Year is already off to a great start for her as well.
In early January, Adela participated in the Czech Biathlon National Cup, a combination of cross-country skiing and rifle shooting, winning 5th place in 5km Sprint and 6th place in Pursuit. This followed on from her success at the SEAA Inter County Cross Country Championships in December where she won first place in the Girls Under 15 4000m.
