KPS pupils ended their half term holiday with their very first sponsored walk around Hyde Park. Despite terrible weather forecasts all week, the rain held off and the sun even made a temporary appearance. The students completed three laps of the route, totally over 5km, at their own pace. They walked with their friends (and without their phones or headphones), creating a social and supportive atmosphere for the walk. Students were encouraged to wear their house colours or house related costumes. We had colourful onesies, head to toe colour block dressing and even some animals reflecting their house mascots.

Sponsored walks are a great way to be active and raise funds for a good cause at the same time. For this academic year, Kensington Park School will be supporting the North Paddington Foodbank. We are pleased to announce that during the inaugural sponsored walk, our team raised £721.52! A special thank you goes to Ms Martin who is behind this amazing initiative!
