Earlier this week, KPS was delighted to host the latest lecture in the London Parents Forum series, ‘Applying to US universities’, organised by Bonas Macfarlane.

The speaker was Seamus Malin, US admissions consultant and previous Director of the Harvard University International Office.

With 16 of the world’s top universities located in the US, students have become increasingly interested in the university programmes on offer. The vast differences between the US and UK application processes mean that careful planning and research is essential.

During the talk, drawing on his extensive Harvard admissions experience, Seamus advised parents on what is involved in applying to a US university, when the process should be started, and how to make an application stand out.

The talk was incredibly informative and was followed by a Q&A making sure that parents left with no question unanswered.
