A keen group of Year 9 pupils headed to Hyde Park, located just a stone's throw away from the Lower School, for their first Physics lesson. Getting off to a practical start on the IGCSE syllabus, they took measurements of distance and time in order to calculate each other’s velocity. They chose a number of different forms of movement including running, crawling and going backwards. The pupils built good working relationships and learnt techniques that will be utilised in future scientific investigations.
