The schools charity and sustainability group KPS CAN (Community Action Network) have this week achieved the Bronze Ecoschools Award. This programme is designed to encourage students to take responsibility for improving the environment and sustainability in their school and local community. Following their environmental audit of the school, the students have developed an action plan which will focus on food at school (including Fairtrade), reduction in energy use and improving recycling and reuse.
