Throughout their course, year 13 psychology students undertake a number of practical lessons to help them develop their research methods skills.
Due to COVID-19 preventing them from testing members of the public, our students opted to test chocolate chip cookies instead! Students compared Maryland cookies against Sainsbury's cookies to see if there was a significant difference in the amount of chocolate chips.

The results are in!

After extensive research our students found that there are significantly more chocolate chips in Maryland cookies. The students used a parametric unrelated samples T-test calculation to establish these findings.

We look forward to sharing more from our Psychology students' experiments…
