We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Vanni as Head Master of Kensington Park School. Paul is Deputy Head of St Paul’s Girls' School and will join a number of his former colleagues from both St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Girls' School already teaching at KPS.

Paul is passionate about education, and having spent his entire life in London schools is deeply attuned to what London pupils and parents want.

He was educated at Latymer Upper School and University College London, obtaining a first class honours degree and a Masters in French literature. After a year teaching English at the Sorbonne, Paul gained his PGCE at the University of Cambridge and in 1998 joined the staff of St Paul’s School where he spent thirteen very happy years as a teacher, tutor, rowing coach and ultimately head of the Modern Languages department.

He joined St Paul's Girls' School in 2011 as Deputy Head and Director of School, overseeing every aspect of school life; all the while, however, he has continued to teach and remains committed to excellence in the classroom.

Paul is also a governor at Glendower Preparatory School and the Hammersmith Academy, an ISI schools' inspector and co-writes the Cambridge Pre-U Italian examinations.

Paul Vanni said:

I am delighted to have been named Head Master of Kensington Park School and am looking forward to working with the leadership, teaching and support staff to deliver what I know will be the next great school in central London.

The passion and vision of the leadership team has drawn me to Kensington Park School; there is a clear commitment to excellence in education through small class sizes, personalised pastoral care, and a unique and varied co-curricular partnerships programme. In addition, the school has both established and developing links around the world which will offer students a global perspective on education, equipping the young minds of today for the world of tomorrow.

Kensington Park School really is an exciting venture. It is a friendly school with the individual at its heart, and yet it is a school with an ambitious vision for education in the 21st century. With access to so many world-class facilities and opportunities on our doorstep, London is our campus.
