In the final week of the Autumn term, year 13 psychology students visited the Science Museum to see the extensive psychology-related “who am I?” exhibition. The students participated in interactive demonstrations such as measuring the ratio between their ring and index fingers to determine how much testosterone they had. They also looked at brain scanning equipment including MRI scanners. The students learnt about brain structures as well as factors that determine personality. Some students were even able to participate in a live study being conducted by Imperial College at the Science Museum. If current or prospective students would like to experience this for themselves they can find out more about the Who am I? exhibition here https://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/see-and-do/who-am-i and more about the live body scan study here https://ibug.doc.ic.ac.uk/resources/medigital/
