Audiences were invited to step into the captivating world of British history with KPS Drama’s latest production, ‘The Wardrobe,’ an adaptation of Sam Holcroft’s enthralling historical play.

Set against the backdrop of seven centuries, from the turmoil of The Black Plague to the dawn of the Industrial Revolution, it showcased the stories of young people from diverse walks of life who find sanctuary inside a centuries-old wardrobe.

From citizens fleeing the outbreak of disease to young children dreaming of entering the world of CS Lewis’ Narnia, Drama teacher Ms Kenyon and her cast of outstanding students deftly navigated the complexities of their respective eras, exploring mature themes and unveiling some ingenious special effects created by our facilities manager, Mr Griffiths.

It offered an unforgettable theatrical performance for our school community, brought to life by the dedication, creativity, and passion of an outstanding department.

Congratulations to the team – we cannot wait to see what you do next!
