At KPS, our university and careers programme prepares Sixth Form students for life beyond the School. As part of this preparation, students in Years 11 and 12 were able to attend this month's Virtual 2021 Live Careers Expo, with a vast range of dynamic and engaging talks from a variety of leading businesses and professions, giving them a taste for the wide range of exciting university and career opportunities which lie ahead!

The Virtual Skills & Careers Expo provides a variety of information relating to popular apprenticeships, traineeships and internships, alongside routes into Further and Higher Education.

During the event, students accessed a diverse range of talks throughout the day, with some of the more popular including major business institutions such a PWC, Bloomberg, Schroders and Virgin Media. This event was the perfect springboard for the Year 11 and 12 students to begin their journey towards studying beyond their GCSE and A Levels, as well as acting as a brilliant opportunity to explore the transition to Higher Education and the university application process.

Every year, KPS students are successful in securing offers for competitive undergraduate courses at leading universities worldwide. Recent university destinations include Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Imperial, LSE, UCL, Durham, Warwick, Kings, Exeter, Queen Mary, Bath, York, Boston and Stanford (US).

A fantastic event which left our students inspired and engaged, full of thoughts for the next steps in their education journey!
