Last week our Year 9 students visited Kensington Palace's Royal Style in the Making exhibition – right on our doorstep! This was a  truly unforgettable for the students as they explored the intimate relationship between fashion designer and royal client, revealing the process behind the creation of a number of the most important couture commissions in royal history.

Whilst visiting the exhibition, the Year 9s developed observational drawings to link back to their English and Drama lessons on Othello and Desdemona. After returning from the trip, students completed a range of activities in both their English, Drama and Art lessons, including producing a collage of potential outfits which Desdemona could wear for different scenes of the play, to depict her persona.

Our students had a fantastic afternoon exploring another cultural landmark, minutes away from our Lower School.
