We are delighted to have a commended Young Artist in our Year 7 cohort at Kensington Park School…

Last year, Charlotte (via her prep school) took part in ‘The Young Art‘ competition, held at the Royal College of Art: a competition that aims to support vital research into childhood cancers. The theme of this year's challenge was 'memories', which sparked some very creative artwork.

Charlotte's drawing was selected to be exhibited in April 2020 and also receive a commendation, a testament to her creative flair.

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Young Art exhibition was cancelled, however it is with huge excitement that we can announce that the exhibition will be held virtually on the 1st of March 2021!

This year's Young Art exhibition celebrates 30 years of children helping children- using their wonderful artwork to raise money for several cancer research charities and foundations.
Parents, students and members of the KPS community can join this virtual event on the 1st March at 2pm, where prize winners will be announced, judges will discuss the entries chosen for awards plus news will be shared from Dr Karin Straathof from the research lab UCL, Institute of Child Health, Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Well done to Charlotte for her hard work and dedication to Art- we look forward to celebrating your achievements in March, and encouraging your artistic talents to develop at school.
